Wimborne Welcomes Christmas Market and Light Switch On Events this November

Wimborne welcomes the annual Wimborne Christmas Market and Christmas Light Switch On events this November as the town decorated for the festivities in style.

The Wimborne Christmas Market, operated by Stir Events for Wimborne BID, will be held on Saturday 29th November 2025, from 11am to 6pm at the High Street Car Park and extends through the High Street and Square. The free event will feature festive stalls, hot food and drink, face painting for children, and entertainment from Radio Wimborne and festive music.

Also on the same day, the Wimborne Christmas Light Switch On will also be happening on the same day, Saturday 29th November 2025, in Wimborne Square from 1pm to 6pm. This event will feature live music, festival stalls and the official live Switch On of the lights at 5.30pm.

As well as this, Dorset Council is providing free parking at the below car parks on Friday 21st November, Friday 28th November, Saturday 29th November, Saturday 6th December and Saturday 19th December (TBC), and we recommend taking full advantage of the free parking and supporting Wimborne business this festive season.
