Where is Family Fest?

Our Family Fest home is at The Meadows, Wimborne, Dorset, BH21 3DH

How much is entry to the festival?

Entry is completely free to gain entry to the festival but there are admissions required inside.

What time is the festival open from and until?

The festival site is open from 11am to 7pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

When is the 2021 festival?

Our 2021 festival is taking place on the end of May bank holiday, Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th May 2021.

Can I bring dogs/guide dogs on site?

We are happy for responsible dog owners to bring their dogs into the festival site. All dogs must be on leads at all times, due to the nature of the event site and the event taking place to fields full of sheep. Please clean up after your dog and if your dog is off of the lead, you will be asked to leave the festival site immediately. Guide dogs are always accepted.

Is there a cash point available on site?

Due to the rural location, there is no cashpoint available on site. The nearest cash point can be found in Wimborne high street which is around a 15-minute walk from the site. Note: Some traders will have card machines but we highly recommend bringing cash with you on the day.

Can I bring my own food and drink onto the festival site?

Of course! Bring a blanket and relax with the family in front of our main stage. We will not have any table or chairs available on-site to sit at, so in the event of great british weather, be readily available to sit on the wet grass or stand.

Is there a printed programme available?

Yes! Our printed programme will be available at our Information Point at the enterance to the festival and from our festival makers around the site. The programme includes details of events, offers and more and is completley free of charge.

Is smoking allowed within the festival site?

The event is an open site so smoking is allowed but please be considerate to traders, contractors and festival makers around the site. Please do not smoke near the food traders at any time.

Is there camping available on site across the weekend?

For 2021 we will not have a campsite available on site but there are local campsites, hotels and B&B's available if you would like to make a weekend of it. Visit for more information.

Getting Here

Is parking available on site?

There is limited parking available at the festival site and is on a first come, first served basis. Alternative parking can be found in Wimborne Minster Town which is around a 10-minute walk from the site but please note that there is no footpath at Julian's Bridge. Please do not park adjacent to the festival site in any laybys or on the verges along the B3078, Julian's Road.

Is there a bus route available to the festival site?

There is a selection of bus services available to the site including a direct route from Wimborne/Poole which is provided by and is route 3. Other routes available are route 4 from Poole (some route 4's go past the event site in the evening & Sunday's) and route 13 from Bournemouth/Parley/Ferndown & Colehill. Alternatively, travel from Bournemouth/Winton/Bearwood & Merley with route 6. See full information via the bus companies website for more information.

Festival Zones

What festival zones will you have at Family Fest?

As of September 2020, we are excited to announce that we will have the following zones for Family Fest 2021: - Traders Village - Live Music Stage - Eco Hub - Waterside Zone - Classic Car Show - Inflatable Zone - Dog Show The above list will be updated as and when required with new additions. When will the 2021 applications for trading open?

Due to Covid-19, we are currently holding back on opening our 2021 applications for all traders. We have a list of traders who wish to be contacted with the applicaiton link only and if you would like to be added, please contact us. Our 2021 applications will be going live no earlier than December 2020 but this could be postponed until January 2021. Please keep an eye on our website for all the details.
