Can I bring dogs/guide dogs on site?
We are happy for responsible dog owners to bring their dogs into the festival site. All dogs must be on leads at all times, due to the nature of the event site and the event taking place to fields full of cattle.
Is parking available on site?
There is limited parking available at the festival site and is on a first come, first served basis and this is free of charge.
Is there a bus route available to the festival site?
There is a selection of bus services available to the site including a direct route from Wimborne/Poole which is provided by morebus.co.uk and is route 3.
Is there a printed programme available?
Yes! Our printed programme will be available at our Information Point at the enterance to the festival and from our festival makers around the site.
Is there camping available on site across the weekend?
For 2021 we will not have a campsite available on site but there are local campsites, hotels and B&B's available if you would like to make a weekend of it.
Is there an enterance fee?
Entry is free for our festival but there are admissions around the festival site including attractions and activites.
Is there a cash machine available on site?

Our festival site is located at The Meadows, Julian's Road, Wimborne, Dorset, BH21 3DH and you can find full details on how to find the site and transport information here.
Will I be able to come and go during the day?
As our festival is free, you will be able to come and go throughout the day.
Are there things for the kids to do on site?
Family Fest is known for bringing families and the community together and offers a safe enclosed environment for families with young children. As a small festival, there are no crowds, queues or pushing which makes it the perfect family friendly event.
What are the bus prices?
Regular commercial fares will apply and local bus companies will be happy to help point you in the cheapest options available.
Will there be a pick up / drop off point?
There will be a desiganted pick up / drop off area at our festival site for anyone wishing to drive friends or relatives to or collect them from this years Family Fest.
Is there disabled parking on site?
Yes, we will have disabled parking available on site. Please let one of the parking volunteers know when you enter the limited parking and they will do there upmost to find you the best possible parking space near the main enterance.
What are the rules for photography?
As a small festival, we allow photography on site and feel free to tag us via social media - Facebook & Instagram @familyfestdorset - and we will share your moments from our festival.

When will the 2021 applications for trading open?

What is the 2021 festival dates?
Our 2021 festival is taking place on the first weekend of the Dorset Summer holidays, 24th & 25th July 2021, with the addition of a Drive-In Cinema on the 26th July.
What time does the festival site open and close?
The festival site is open from 11am to 7pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

Will there be a licensed bar on site?
We are excited to bring a small licensed bar on site after feedback from our first two festivals. The bar can be found near the main stage and will be open for the duration of the weekend.
