Family Fest has musician opportunities to be part of our main stage or our smaller farmside stage for Family Fest 2026, on Saturday 30th May and Sunday 31st May 2026 in the heart of Wimborne, Dorset.

 

As a festival, our main aims are to bring families together with great food, music and activities, as well as give opportunities to those who may be getting back into the music scene or looking for a break into the industry, giving you experience on either our main stage or our busking stage.

As a festival, we raise vital funds for Cherry Tree Nursery, and with this in mind, we have two options for artists' opportunities and what is included in each option.

Volunteer Basis Opportunity

​

If you'd like to help us support Cherry Tree Nursery further in raising vital funds, as well as getting an opportunity at a live festival to be part of the musician lineup, we have opportunities to give you the space to perform on either our main stage or in our busking stage on a volunteer basis - and as a festival, we will donate £30 for every main stage act, and £15 for every busking stage act who wishes to volunteer there time for 2026.

​As a festival, we understand that musicians would prefer to be paid, and you can find further details about paid opportunities below.

 

As a thank you for supporting us, we can provide either of the following:

​

• Entry to Family Fest for the weekend for you and 5 others

• Opportunity to perform on our main stage or within our busking area

• Included in promotional material including web, social and print

​

In past years, being part of our live music line-up has allowed artists/bands to grow in a further and/or new setting, and given further opportunities to other festivals and events in Dorset and surrounding counties.

Paid Opportunity

​

If you would like to be paid to be part of our artists line-up for 202, we understand fully and we have a limited amount of paid opportunities for soloists and bands. As part of this opportunity, you will be paid and the artist/each band member will be allowed access to the festival.​

Application Process + Dates​

 

Please apply to hello@familyfestdorset.co.uk with details about you as a soloist/band, a photo, at least two videos showing your music style, your socials and which opportunity you would like to choose (if a paid opportunity, please specify the amount you would be looking to be paid).​

​

We will reply to all applications within 21 days of them being received.
