Family Fest is in the heart of the Wimborne countryside and we have a selection of different modes of transport that you can get directly to the festival site with. If you have any questions, contact us or use our live chat feature and one of the team will get in touch and be happy to help.

Travel by bus

Yellow Buses provides bus services and a free shuttle bus to Wimborne Square to and from route 6 from Bournemouth, Bournemouth Rail Station, Winton, Bournemouth University, Wallisdown, Bearwood and Merley. When you get to Wimborne square, simply get off the bus, turn right and walk to the end and across the road on the left (outside Scrivens Opticians) is our stop for our shuttle service.

The festival shuttle runs from Wimborne Square (o/s Scrivens) at 10:30, 11:30, 14:30 and 15:30 and brings you back from the festival site at 14:05, 15:05, 18:05 and 19:05. You can find full details here.

morebus provides bus services in and around the Wimborne area from Poole and Bournemouth with some routes providing access to the festival site while others stop in Wimborne Square (a 10 to 15-minute walk). Route 3 & 4, alight at Julian's Road, from Broadstone, Corfe Mullen & Poole. Route 13, alight at Wimborne Square*, from Colehill, Parley Cross and Bournemouth.

Travel by walking & cycling

If you can, we recommend walking or cycling to the event site; not only is it healthier, but it is also greener. Corfe Mullen, Bearwood, Canford Magna, Colehill and Broadstone are all close and have easily accessible routes into the event site.

Do you live or are you staying in Bournemouth or Poole? Hire a Beryl bike at the all-day rate and leave it at the festival site while you walk around and then ride home or back to your accommodation after. We have a special Beryl bay on-site and the Beryl zone is being extended for Saturday & Sunday only so you can buy minute bundles or day passes.

 

Every Beryl bike rider who rides into the site will receive 30 minutes free.

Travel by car

On-site, we have limited parking available from 11am to 7pm on Saturday and 11am to 7pm Sunday. If the car park is full, alternative parking is available in Wimborne which is around a 10-minute walk from the site with bus services available if required (see above).

 

Please do not park on the main B3078 as you will be blocking the main road and you will be reported.
