Trading With Us

Are you a trader or caterer looking for a pitch at Wimborne's number one family festival? Look no further! You can apply to be a trader at Family Fest 2021 now!

 

We typically have an estimated 2,500 people attend our small festival over the 2 days with our festival site open from 11am to 7pm on both Saturday & Sunday. 

We carefully select the very best traders and work with them to provide a great experience for families and the community that visit our small festival.

Trader Pitch

Market stall spaces, based with our trading village, are for standard trading sellers. We have either 3m x 4m or 3m x 6m spaces available but we are open for bespoke spacing and pricing if you require more space than 3m x 6m.

As a market trader, you will need your own gazebo, which must be secured, weighted and suitable for all weathers. We will go ahead come rain or shine and you should be ready for what the British weather throws our way. We cannot be responsible for any damage to your gazebo and we can not guarantee the location of your trade stand.

Please note that you will require the following documents: Public Liability Insurance (£2 million or above) & Event Risk Assessment.

Catering Pitch

Catering pitches are for anyone selling food or drink with a menu (including cold lunch food) and drink during the festival. These are 3m x 6m and we charge the fee of 3m x 6m for a £150.00 pitch but we are open for bespoke spacing and pricing if you require more space. 3m x 6m is the minimum pitch size for food traders.

Please note that you will require the following documents: Local Authority Registration, Food Hygiene Rating (must be 4* or above), Public Liability Insurance (£5 million or above), Employer's Liability Insurance (£5 million or above), Fire Risk Assessment, Event Risk Assessment, PAT Test Certificate (if required) and Gas Safe Certificate (if required).

Charity Stands

We provide 3m x 4m spaces for registered charities as part of our community feel festival, free of charge. We have limited the number of these available to 7 for each day but charities can book with us for both days if we have the space available.

Attractions & Activites

Ample space is available for vendors offering funfair rides and amusements, vintage rides, children's activities and entertainment. To make this fair, simply contact us via email at info@familyfestdorset.co.uk with what you are offering/selling and the size of pitch required and we will be back in touch with you with the fee for the space that we would be looking to charge.

Please note that we have inflatables, archery and crazy golf booked for 2021.

What we're looking for this year

For Family Fest 2021, now that we have a larger size than in previous years we are looking to build an established group of traders. We are keen to hear from you if you fit into one of these categories:

  • Small independent traders (something different and inspiring)

  • Interesting, local and affordable food and drink offerings

  • Caterers and traders who are working from something out of the ordinary

  • Fun attractions and activities which will be suited to our family visitors

We are keen to impress and the presentation of your stall is important to us and we are enthusiastic to include traders who embrace our 2021 theme - Mindfulness - and has well-dressed trading pitches. 

Application process + dates

We allocate all trading pitches on a first come first served basis and we assess this on each application received so please provide as much detail as possible. We will be accepting applications until the 13th of June 2021. Successful applicants will be notified with 21 days and payment for your pitch is due within 14 days of the invoice being issued.
