With Family Fest 2020 officially postponed until May 2021, we are excited to be presenting Virtual Fest in your own homes. The weekend is packed with variety for all of the family - young people, parents and granparents - and it can be viewed from the comfort of your garden or sofa.
Rob, founder of Family Fest, said; 'Virtual Fest is all about supporting our 2020 event charity and working with local independent businesses and artists from the Dorset area. We will be raising vital funds across the weekend for Amelia's Rainbow, a local children's charity.'
He went on to say; 'The event is free and will be available live across our Facebook and YouTube networks on the 15th & 16th August 2020. If you can donate where possible, please do help us support our 2020 charity.'
Here is what we have planned:
Live Music from Local Artists
We are working with just some of the best local artists from around Dorset including Fleur Lindsay, local singer songwriter and Allan Turner-Ward, local BGT semi-finalist in 2014. If you like music, variety will be given across the weekend.
Demonstrations from local independent businesses
We will be bringing a variety of demonstrations straight to you at home including gin & cocktail making class with Ginclairs and an archery class with Moving Mountains. If your the family to get involved, the demonstrations are for you.
Family Quizzes to get stuck into
If your family is into quizzes, our two family quizzes will be for you. Bring the family together, learn about the local area and be part of raising vital funds for our event charity for 2020.
Virtual Eco Hub
Learn about different ways the whole family can be eco friendly with our virtual eco hub. From cycling instead of driving, litter picking in your local park or recycling at every moment given, we will have the best ways to stay eco and look after our planet.
Virtual Fest takes place on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th August 2020 from 11am to 7pm on Family Fest's Facebook and YouTube. Updates can be found via our official Facebook event at www.facebook.com/events/637821506948713/.
