Family Fest, an annual festival that thrives in Wimborne, Dorset, is proud to be bringing all the family fun and action virtually to your home this August.
With almost all festivals and other outdoor events this season postponed until 2021, due to the current pandemic, there is no need to travel to Virtual Fest and you can stay in the comfort of your own home or in the garden and in the sun. The online event includes live local talent, demonstrations from local independents, family quizzes free for all of the family, online eco hub and more across two days.
Rob Batson, founder of Family Fest, said; ‘We are proud to be going live virtually this year and bringing something that is a little different but also the feel for families who are missing out on festivals and other local events this year. Virtual Fest is fully supporting our event charity for 2020, Amelia’s Rainbow, and across the weekend we will have various local artists and independents being part of the virtual event.’
Rob went on to say; ‘We are also proud to have partnered with morebus, our official event travel partner, and leave only footprints who are a local initiative for Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole to make the resort cleaner. We are also delighted to be having Allan Turner-Ward who is a Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist in 2014 and local DJ.’
The line up for the weekend from local artists includes Megan Hill, The Lyte Brigade, Fleur Lindsay, Sebastian Darbost, Rachael Silver, Marco DI Gaetano, Allan Turner-Ward as well local independent businesses who will be demonstrating live including Ginclairs, Oscars Pet Foods South, Moving Mountains and more across the event weekend.
